Choosing a Coffin
When choosing woodland burial we ask that you consider carefully the coffin which you use. The majority of coffins which are currently made are manufactured from MDF, plastics and veneers which are very damaging to the environment. We ask that you use a coffin made from natural materials only, such as wood, willow, wicker or bamboo.
These coffins can be extremely beautiful, practical and need not be expensive. Since many people are now choosing to use materials which do not damage the environment, your funeral director will be fully aware of where to obtain suitable products. If in doubt please speak to us and we will be pleased to help.
